Xperia Z2 – The world’s best camera and camcorder in a waterproof smartphone1

The beacon of Sony’s pace of innovation, and latest addition to the premium Z series – Xperia Z2 is Sony’s best ever premium waterproof smartphone. It combines Sony’s camera and camcorder technologies, acclaimed TRILUMINOS™ Display for mobile with Live Colour LED, the world’s first digital noise cancelling technology in a smartphone2 and signature OmniBalance design.

Xperia Z2 Tablet – The world’s slimmest and lightest waterproof tablet5

Building on the success of the acclaimed Xperia Tablet Z, Sony introduced Xperia Z2 Tablet, representing the pinnacle of tablet innovation.
Sharing many of the same exciting features as Xperia Z2, XperiaZ2 Tablet features the TRILUMINOS™ Display for mobile with Live Colour LED, and digital noise cancelling technology for no-compromise entertainment viewing and listening experiences.
At launch it will be supported by a number of innovative accessories, including BSC10 Bluetooth® Speaker dock with Magnetic Charging Pad and the BRH10 Bluetooth® Remote with Handset Function, to boost the movie and gaming experience.
Xperia Z2 Tablet will hit markets worldwide from March 2014.

SmartWear Experience – SmartBand SWR10 and new Lifelog application available from March 2014

First introduced at CES, SmartBand SWR10 is the first product within the SmartWear Experience vision – a new user experience based around three core pillars – Lifelogging, “Wearing smart” and “Life tools”.
It represents a different proposition that goes beyond health or fitness tracking. SmartWear Experience is grounded in logging life; entertainment and social activities, in a useful and colourful way – users can reminisce at the past, make the best of the present and plan for the future.
SmartBand and Lifelog application will be available from March 2014 in over 60 markets worldwide.
Sony also revealed that SmartBand, along with SmartWatch 2, are official smartphone accessories of the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup™. Along with custom themes and wearable styles, a new application will be available through Xperia Lounge that will enable fans to stay in the know as the tournament unfolds, and remain updated on all the highs and lows through subtle alerts.

#XperiaDetails – Integrated global marketing campaign

To celebrate the launch of Xperia Z2, Sony Mobile today unveiled #XperiaDetails.
The campaign is centered upon a 90 second brand film, depicting a day in the life of French dancer & choreographer Jeremié Bélingard.
In addition to the 90 second piece, a series of five 30 second vignettes will be rolled out over the weeks ahead, to explain key experiences on offer to the Xperia Z2 user in more detail. Digital noise cancelling, TRILUMINOS™ Display for mobile with Live Colour LED, 4K resolution video, waterproofing and SmartWear Experience will feature in Bélingard’s interaction with Xperia Z2.
Sony’s new Xperia™ Z2 campaign film can be viewed for the first time on Sony Mobile’s YouTube channel now.
