Award-Winning SAMSUNG MobilePrint App Enhanced For Increased Ease-of-Use and Functionality 

Includes the Ability to Fax Directly From App and Adds New Interface

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J., November 15, 2012 – Samsung Electronics America Inc. today announced the availability of its enhanced “plug & play” MobilePrint App. A Buyer’s Lab 2012 Pick Award winner, Samsung’s MobilePrint App offers secure, fast, easy printing or scanning through a Wi-Fi access point for Android and Windows enhanced versions and iOS smart mobile devices.

The MobilePrint App now provides the market with a more complete solution, including the convenience of being able to send faxes directly from the app and print directly from the cloud with Google Drive. This new feature adds to the ability of the MobilePrint App to print, scan, review, sign and share mobile content like attachments, travel itineraries and web content directly from a smartphone or tablet to any Samsung printer on a local-area network with a secure WiFi access point.

Other major enhancements include: 

• Landscape view for tablet 
• Shortcut to camera directly from the app 
• Shortcut to print emails and attachments from Gmail 
• Photo functionality – can select multiple photos and touch to crop or rotate 
• More aesthetically appealing user interface 

Samsung MobilePrint App easily works with any networked, wired or wireless Samsung printer or MFP and is compatible with Android, Windows Mobile™, iPhone and iPad. The MobilePrint App is available for download at the iTunes Apple Store and Google Play Store.
